The Bowling Green Daily News reported Wednesday Warren Central has named a new girls basketball coach, who has bloodlines to the Warren Central athletic program.
Joe Hood was an assistant with the girls program last season. Hood is the son of former longtime football coach and athletics director Joe P. Hood, who spent 19 seasons with the Warren Central program. The younger Hood replaces Chris Stunson, who had been head coach the last three seasons. Long time Lady Dragon head coach Todd Steward will return to the sidelines to assist Hood this season.
