High School Football: WPSD-Paducah reported on its website Tuesday long time Massac County, IL High football coach Kelly Glass has stepped down. Glass will become the new associate head coach at the new McCracken County High School.
Glass won 132 games at Massac County, leading to the Patriots to the Illinois state playoffs 13 times. He was inducted into the Illinois High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007.
McCracken County plays Christian County during the 2013 football season.
MLB: The Cincinnati Reds will complete their suspended game with the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon before playing the regularly scheduled game this evening. The suspended game is tied 0-0 going to the bottom of the 9th inning. Coverage of both games airs at 4:20 on News/Talk WHOP.

NFL: New Tennessee Titans safety Bernard Pollard tells the Tennessean he wants to leave the past behind and focus on a new chapter of his career. Pollard helped lead the Baltimore Ravens to this year’s Super Bowl title. Pollard is expected to lead and help improve a Titan defense that gave up a franchise record 471 points last season.
NHL: Now that a playoff run is out of the question, the Nashville Predators are switching focus to begin evaluating for next season. Coach Barry Trotz says with so many veterans hurt, the last games of the season give he and his staff the chance to look at young players to see what the team has and what direction they need to go. The Predators have four games left in the season, beginning Friday night at Chicago.
