College Basketball: In the Women’s NCAA Tournament, Tennessee moves on to the Sweet 16 with a 68-52 win over Creighton. The Lady Vols will next face Oklahoma in the Oklahoma City regional semifinals Sunday in Oklahoma City.
Vanderbilt saw its season end with a 77-44 loss to Connecticut. The Commodores finish the season 21-12.
Tonight’s games include Kentucky taking on Dayton in the second round of the Bridgeport Regional in Queens, NY. Pre game coverage begins at 6 on Lite 98.7.
Louisville also plays a second round game in the Oklahoma City Regional this evening, hosting Purdue.
Times have been announced for the regional semi final games in the men's NCAA tournament later this week.
East Region in Washington DC: Marquette meets Miami at 6:15 Hopkinsville time, with Indiana playing Syracuse at 8:45 pm.
West Region in Los Angeles: Arizona meets Ohio State at 6:47 pm, with Wichita State meeting LaSalle at 9:15 pm. Finals will be played Saturday.
Midwest Region in Indianapolis: Louisville meets Oregon at 6:15 pm, followed by Michigan State and Duke at 8:45 pm.
South Region at Cowboys Stadium: Kansas meets Michigan at 6:37 pm, with Florida meeting Florida Gulf Coast at 9:07 pm. Finals will be played on Sunday.

Tubby Smith was relieved of his head coaching duties at Minnesota Monday. The former Kentucky coach was fired after six seasons with the Golden Gophers, despite leading the team to the third round of the NCAA tournament this year.
Smith leaves Minnesota after a 124–81 overall record and a 46–62 record in Big 10 play. He’ll receive a $2.5 million buyout. The Gophers concluded their season Sunday with a 78-64 loss to Florida.
College Football: Kentucky had session five of spring practice Monday, and Coach Mark Stoops left with a sour taste. Stoops told reporters following the workout the defense was very, very average at best and their performance was very lackluster. The Wildcats will workout again Wednesday.
Austin Peay begins spring practice this afternoon with a workout at 3:30 in Governors Stadium. New coach Kirby Cannon inherits a team that has much of its offense and defense returning. The Governors were 2-9 last season.

NFL: New Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick met with the media Monday. Fitzpatrick says he’s looking forward to helping starter Jake Locker and the chance for a fresh start. Fitzpatrick also signed his contact, which is a two year deal at $6.5 million.
The Titans signed defensive end Ropati Pitoitua. No details on the contract are known. Pitoitua appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs last season, tallying 51 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble. He has also spent time with the Jets.
NHL: The Nashville Predators won their third game in a row with a 3-2 win over Edmonton last night. The Preds will close out the four game home stand hosting Phoenix Thursday night at 7.
MLB: The Cincinnati Reds meet the Chicago Cubs in a Cactus League game this evening, with coverage at 8:55 on News/Talk WHOP.
