College Basketball: Second round action in the Women’s NCAA tournament takes place this evening, with games including Tennessee hosting Creighton in Knoxville as part of the Oklahoma City regional and Vanderbilt is at Connecticut as part of the Bridgeport regional.
Kentucky returns to action tomorrow night in Queens, NY in the Bridgeport regional taking on Dayton, with pre game coverage at 5:45 on Lite 98.7. Louisville plays a second round game in the Oklahoma City regional tomorrow night hosting Purdue.

The Commercial Appeal reports the University of Memphis is trying to lock Coach Josh Pastner into a long term contract. Pastner just completed his second year of a five year deal. An ESPN.com writer reported over the weekend Southern Cal is interested in Pastner’s services.
Several media reports indicate George Mason University is moving to the Atlantic 10. The A-10 has a teleconference schedule for this afternoon, but did not disclose what it concerns. The A-10 is losing Butler and Xavier to the new Big East Conference with Temple and Charlotte also leaving the conference.
College Football: Former Georgia Tech assistant coach Brian Bohannon has been named head football coach of the Kennesaw State program which begins play in 2015. The Owls will play on the Football Championship Subdivision level. As we reported this morning, Murray State coach Chris Hatcher turned down the job last Friday according to WPSD-Paducah.
High School Softball: Greenwood is first again this week in the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Top 25, with Owensboro Catholic 2nd, Bowling Green 7th, Christian County 9th, Reidland 12th, Lone Oak 13th, Marshall County 20th and Apollo 25th.
NHL: The Nashville Predators will try to win three in a row for the first time in over six weeks when they host the Edmonton Oilers tonight in Bridgestone Arena. Coverage of the game begins at 7 on News/Talk WHOP.
MLB: Cactus League action this afternoon has Cincinnati taking on Seattle, and the Chicago Cubs meet San Francisco. Grapefruit League action has St. Louis against Minnesota and Atlanta takes on the NY Mets.
PGA Tour: The final round of the storm delayed Arnold Palmer Invitational is underway in Orlando. A violent storm stopped play early in the fourth round, with Tiger Woods leading the event. Woods is seeking his eighth win of the event.
