High School Basketball: Boys regional action continues this evening with first round games. 2nd region at Hopkinsville: Trigg County meets Caldwell County at 6, followed by Christian County and Henderson County at 7:30. Coverage of both games begins with the Heritage Bank pre game show at 5:45 on Newstalk WHOP and online at whopam.com. 4th region at WKU: Warren Central goes against Franklin Simpson and Barren County plays Clinton County. 1st region at Murray State: Graves County meets Marshall County and Lone Oak goes against Fulton City. 3rd region at Owensboro Sportscenter: Owensboro plays Meade County and Ohio County goes against Grayson County. College Football: The website CoachingSearch.com reports Western Kentucky University has named former Alabama Birmingham head coach Neil Callaway as its new offensive line coach. Callaway replaces the recently hired Mike Summers, a former Kentucky assistant, who left to go to Southern California. Callaway spent the last five seasons as UAB’s head coach. College Basketball: Top 25 games this evening have top ranked Indiana taking on Minnesota, 6th ranked Florida meets Tennessee, 16th ranked Wisconsin hosts Nebraska and 17th ranked Memphis meets Xavier. ESPN reports Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski will not return to coach USA basketball after completing his season at Duke. Krzyzewski said in an interview this morning on ESPN Radio, he has been honored to be the coach for the last seven years. Krzyzweski’s successor will be chosen this summer for the 2014 world championships in Madrid. Major League Baseball: Florida games today have St. Louis meeting Boston and Atlanta playing Washington. Arizona games have Cincinnati playing San Diego and the Chicago Cubs meet Colorado.
