College Basketball:   Kentucky’s Nerlens Noel was named SEC freshman of the week for the third straight week. Noel set a school record with 12 blocks in last Tuesday’s win at Ole Miss and had a season high 19 points in Kentucky’s overtime win Saturday at Texas A&M.

Coach John Calipari’s weekly call in show airs at 5 this evening, followed by Big Blue Weekly at 6 on Lite 98.7.

NFL:   Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh says one of the toughest moments in yesterday's Super Bowl was meeting his brother, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, at midfield after the Ravens' victory.

During a morning news conference in New Orleans, Harbaugh said he and his brother spoke on the field before the game and agreed that the only thing that would have been worse is if either of them or both of them hadn't made it to the Super Bowl.  Harbaugh called his brother the best coach in the NFL, and said he's proud of him.

Harbaugh said he didn't think the blackout in the third quarter helped the 49ers.  He remarked that the 49ers just outplayed them for a stretch, but he's proud of the Ravens players for their ability to bounce back and secure the win.

Super Bowl 47 had a 34 minute power outage at the Mercedes Benz Superdome Sunday, with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell saying during this morning’s post Super Bowl news conference that the outage would not affect the future of the city of New Orleans hosting the game.
