Girls: University Heights defeated Dawson Springs 67-43 in the opening round of the 2nd region All A Classic. Other results saw Caldwell County beat Crittenden County 55-39, Livingston Central edged Lyon County 57-55 and Webster County over Trigg County 68-5.
4th region Girls All A saw Glasgow beat Todd Central 59-46, Russellville over Cumberland County 74-64.
Other games: Hopkins Central over Fort Campbell 61-53, Ohio County defeated Madisonville 61-50, Henderson County over Paducah Tilghman 68-51, Warren East over Central Hardin 56-36 and Muhlenberg County edged South Warren 59-56.
Boys: 4th region All A action saw Glasgow defeat Todd Central 71-53. 1st region All A saw St. Mary win over Ballard Memorial 67-52. Other games saw Apollo get by Warren East 76-73.

AP polls: Hopkinsville is ranked 9th in the latest Boys High School AP poll, which has Ballard ranked number one. Henderson County is 5th and Bowling Green 6th in the latest AP Girls poll, which has Marion County ranked first.
College Basketball: Top ranked Louisville got off to a sluggish start against Connecticut, but rolled over the Huskies in the second half to win 73-58. Russ Smith led the Cardinals with 23 points.
Women’s action: Belmont over Murray State 59-50 and Morehead State over Austin Peay 77-71.
Tonight’s games: Kentucky meets Tennessee in Southeastern Conference action in Rupp Arena, with pre game coverage at 4:30 on Lite 98.7. Vanderbilt is also in action this evening as the Commodores meet South Carolina.
NFL: The Tennessean reports New Jersey authorities are still searching for Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt. Investigators want to speak with Britt about a pair of incidents early Sunday morning. Britt dropped off a man, which was first thought to be his brother, at Jersey City Medical Center. Authorities say Britt was uncooperative at the time. An NFL spokesman says the league will look into the latest incident, while Titans officials have had no comment.
