College Football: The University of Tennessee has a news conference scheduled for this afternoon to announce Butch Jones as its 24th football coach. Jones comes to Knoxville from the University of Cincinnati where he has spent the last three seasons. Jones is 50-27 as a collegiate head coach. Jones replaces Derek Dooley who was fired last month. Former Fort Campbell and Western Kentucky football standout Antonio Andrews has been selected as one of four finalists for the Paul Hornung Award. The Hornung award is presented yearly to the most versatile player. Andrews had 2,977 all purpose yards as a running back and kick returner this season, which was tops in the nation. The other finalists are Kent State running back Dri Archer, Southern California receiver Marquise Lee and West Virginia receiver Tavon Austin. The winner will be announced in early January and fans can vote online at votepaulhornungaward.com. Louisville coach Charlie Strong was named the Big East coach of the year Thursday. Strong led the Cardinals to a 10-2 mark, a share of the Big East championship and a BCS bowl game appearance against Florida in the Sugar Bowl. Cards quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was named the Big East Offensive player of the year. Bridgewater threw for 3,452 yards and 25 touchdowns in 11 games this season. With the Saturday spotlight all to themselves, the 113th edition of the historic matchup between Army and Navy is once again set to be played in Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.
