Sports Tonight comes your way at 5:08 this evening on Newstalk 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP. Jeff Sisk will be sitting in for Todd Hamilton. The program will feature a piece on former Christian County softball/wrestling coach Jim Perrin, a visit with Christian County football coach Steve Lovelace, also comments from Hopkinsville football coach Marc Adam Clark and Christian County volleyball coach Rick Erickson. Funeral arrangements are complete for former Christian County softball/wrestling coach Jim Perrin. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4-8 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, with funeral services Friday morning at 11 am at the church. Tuesday’s High School Sports Results 2nd region volleyball at Caldwell County: University Heights lost to Caldwell County 3 sets to one, while Henderson County defeated Crittenden County 3-0. 2nd region Boys Soccer at Henderson County: Madisonville edged University Heights 2-1 and Trigg County defeated Union County 6-0. 4th region Boys Soccer at Bowling Green: Todd Central lost to Bowling Green 10-0. 2nd region Girls Soccer at Lyon County: Hopkinsville shut out Trigg County 10-0 and Henderson County defeated Caldwell County 4-2. Wednesday’s Schedule Boys 2nd region soccer at Henderson County: Hopkinsville meets host Henderson County in one semifinal, with Madisonville playing Trigg County. Girls 2nd region soccer at Lyon County: Semifinal action has Hopkinsville meeting Henderson County, with host Lyon County playing Madisonville. College Basketball: The San Jose Mercury News says highly touted basketball recruit Marcus Lee will announce his collegiate decision today. Kentucky and California are the two finalists for Lee’s services. The 6-9 forward is ranked as the 9th best high school senior in the nation according to one recruiting website.
