Christian County football fans are reminded that tailgating will take place before tomorrow night’s game with Hopkinsville at the Stadium of Champions, however, it will take place on the visitors side of the stadium. Tailgating will also begin 30 minutes earlier at 5 pm as students and fans will be joined by members of the Class of 1987 who are having their 25th reunion this weekend. The Houston Chronicle reports a decision could be announced by week’s end where Rice basketball transfer Arsalan Kazemi ends up going. A story indicated Kazemi met with Oregon coach Dana Altman in Houston Wednesday, with the Ducks being considered one of the top choices because classes do not begin there until September 24th. Kentucky is also on Kazemi’s short list of schools. Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker was hospitalized Wednesday for treatment of an irregular heartbeat. Baker is expected to rejoin the club Friday. The Reds magic number to clinch the National League Central division is three games as they play at Chicago this afternoon. St. Louis also has an afternoon game hosting Houston, while the Atlanta Braves are off today.
