Sanders and Cobbins were suspended for last week’s game against Western Kentucky, but will play Saturday at Florida. Caffey is academically ineligible for this season. The three are scheduled to appear in Fayette District Court October 9th.

Western Kentucky coach Willie Taggart says beating Kentucky is not the only goal for the Hilltopper football team.

Taggart tells the Courier Journal his team enjoyed the Kentucky win for what he termed 25 hours, but now is focusing on Southern Miss who comes to Houchens-LT Smith Stadium Saturday night. WKU has won 9 of its last 11 games, with losses coming to LSU last season and to number one Alabama two weeks ago.

Gillispie is also being investigated by Texas Tech officials for mistreatment of players.

NFL: Despite an 0-2 start, Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak says he plans to make no changes. Munchak instead is preaching patience, saying a play or two would have swung games. The Titans host 1-1 Detroit Sunday at noon in LP Field.
