Funeral arrangements have been released for former Kentucky High School Athletics Association commissioner Louis Stout. Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Hopkinsville time at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington, with funeral services Saturday at 11 am Hopkinsville time at Consolidated Baptist Church at 1625 Russell Cave Road in Lexington. Stout died Sunday following a brief illness.

Arraignment took place this morning in a Calloway County courtroom for Murray State basketball player Zay Jackson. Jackson was arrested and charged with first degree assault Sunday afternoon after hitting two people with his car in the parking lot of Walmart in Murray. WPSD reports the judge in the case reduced the charges to second degree assault and lowered the bond from $20,000 to $15,000. Jackson remains lodged in the Calloway County Jail and will appear for a preliminary hearing September 26th.

Kentucky offensive lineman Larry Warford was named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in the Kent State game Saturday. Kentucky meets Western Kentucky Saturday night in Lexington. Coach Joker Phillips has his call in show at 5 this evening, followed by Big Blue Weekly at 6 on Lite 98.7.

Week one of the NFL season concludes tonight with a Monday Night doubleheader. Cincinnati is at Baltimore in a game you can hear at 5:30 on Newstalk 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP, with the late game featuring San Diego and Oakland.

Major League Baseball tonight has St. Louis at San Diego, Cincinnati host Pittsburgh, Atlanta takes on Milwaukee and the Chicago Cubs are in Houston.
