There will be another Neighborhood Watch meeting early next month in Trigg County.
Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam says the meeting will be Saturday, December 1st at 4pm at the South Road Volunteer Fire Department.
The meeting will also feature discussion on prescription drug abuse and other law enforcement issues the public may have.
Anyone with questions regarding the meeting is encouraged to contact Sheriff Burnam.
A traffic accident on Woodmill Road yesterday afternoon sent a local teen to the hospital.
The Hopkinsville Police report says 17-year old Laura Streets of Hopkinsville was northbound on Woodmill when she veered slightly to the right for an unknown reason and struck a guard rail, causing the airbags to inflate.
Ms. Streets was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck pain.
A two-vehicle wreck at East 9th and Coleman Streets yesterday injured a Hopkinsville woman.
The incident happened around noon, according to the report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Spencer Loftus, which says 23-year old Charisse Ewell of Hopkinsville was westbound on East 9th and was attempting to make a left turn onto Coleman.
Ms. Ewell said she didn’t see the oncoming vehicle of 39-year old Laquita Harris and struck it in the right side, causing Ms. Harris to hit a utility pole.
Ms. Harris was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of leg and arm injuries, while Ms. Ewell went uninjured.

According to the Uniform Code of Justice, the retired Four Star General may be prosecuted for adultery if officials uncover his extramarital affair with a woman, now identified as 40-year old Paula Broadwell began before he took on the position with the CIA.
Multiple sources indicate the affair was uncovered after the FBI traced harassing emails from Broadwell to a close Petraeus family friend, Jill Kelley.
The former Army General resigned abruptly from the CIA on Friday and came clean about the extramarital affair in his resignation letter.
Petraeus contends the affair began after his stellar military career ended.
Kentucky State Police say a Hardin, Kentucky man received non-life threatening injuries following a single-vehicle wreck in Trigg County early this morning.
State Police say the wreck happened around 8:35 a.m. and preliminary investigation indicates that 38-year old Bernard Manion was driving eastbound on U.S. 68 just east of the Trace in the right lane, with semi-truck attempting to pass in the left lane.
Manion told police he thought the semi had cut too close infront of his vehicle and in attempt to avoid a wreck, he applied his brakes and swerved, which caused his vehicle to hit a guardrail.
Manion was transported by ambulance to Murray Calloway County Hospital by Trigg County EMS for minor neck and back pain.
Trigg County EMS and Trigg County Rescue also assisted on the scene.
