Someone broke into a Boyd St. home Friday night and got away with a video game console and flat screen television.

The report from Hopkinsville Police says the incident happened between 4:30 Friday afternoon and 11pm Friday night.

Donielle Poindexter told police that someone forced open the front door at 123 Boyd and ransacked two rooms of her home, apparently looking for cash. Instead, the perpetrator got away with a Nintendo Wii and a Vizio 32 inch flat screen television.

Clarksville Police have identified the young man killed in a head-on collision yesterday morning on Madison Street.

Pronounced dead on the scene was 20-year old Tyler Head of Springfield, while 19-year old Lucas Haley of Springfield is in critical, but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Head was eastbound around 7:40am when a vehicle driven by 31-year old Vincent Clark of Clarksville crossed the center line and hit his pickup head-on.

Head and his passenger were not wearing a seat belt.

Clark was taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt and is in Stable condition. Clark’s passenger, 26-year old Denesha Clark of Clarksville, was treated and released from Gateway Medical Center.

Clarksville Police say the investigation into the wreck continues and that charges are pending.

Sheriff's officials are investigating a homicide reported by the victim's wife just off Fort Campbell Boulevard on the Fidelio Road about 8:15 Friday night.

The victim is identified in the report on file at the Sheriff's Office as 28-year old Vincent Goslyn, Jr. of Beers Avenue, Ft. Campbell.

The report from Deputy Scott Noisworthy says the ECC received the call saying that Goslyn had been shot several times and was bleeding and ''unresponsive''.

Goslyn was apparently dead when officers arrived.

The victim's wife, Jessie Goslyn, was the reporting person and she was being questioned along with others concerning the incident which occurred just east of the intersection of the Fidelio road and Fort Campbell Boulevard, which is almost directly across from the Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

The site was just outside the 500 foot stretch of city jurisdiction on either side of Fort Campbell Boulevard.

The investigation continues.

A Cadiz man already twice convicted of driving impaired in the last five years was injured in a wreck in Lyon County yesterday morning while allegedly driving drunk again.

Kentucky State Police say 21-year old Chase Bush of Cadiz was northbound on Kentucky 93 when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the southbound lane, ran off the road and struck a tree.

Bush was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital, where he was admitted. He was cited into court for his third DUI in the last five years and for driving on a DUI suspended license.

Efforts to remove a 322 ft. section of the Eggner’s Ferry Bridge and other debris from the Delta Mariner is set to begin tomorrow, weather permitting.

Coast Guard Marine Safety Office Lieutenant Jennifer Jessie says Foss Maritime and the Coast Guard agreed on a plan to remove the steel and concrete and that all of the necessary equipment is in place to begin.

Lieutenant Jessie says there are a lot of moving parts and a lot of tall metal pieces of equipment that would require a delay in action, if forecasted thunderstorms impact the area Saturday.

The Delta Mariner has been sitting in place at the site it crashed into the 80-year old bridge last Thursday night. No one was killed or injured in the incident and motorists have had to use detours to get across Kentucky Lake ever since.
