The arrest warrant for the man charged in connection with the shooting death of a Fort Campbell soldier February 3rd on Fidelio Road gives a little more information on the case.
The warrant alleges that 24-year old Jarred Tabor Long of 2880 Kivera Court, Grand Junction, Colorado was the one who pulled the trigger and shot 28-year old Vincent Goslyn multiple times until he was dead.
Police say they got that information through interviewing the other suspect charged with murder—25-year old Jessie Goslyn—who was the victim’s wife. One law enforcement official has said Jessie Goslyn and Long were in a romantic relationship at the time.
Ms. Goslyn appeared in district court last week and a not guilty plea was entered on her behalf when she told the judge she couldn’t afford an attorney. Long was picked up at the Mesa County Jail by Christian County detectives last night around 6:30 and will appear in court at 12:30 today for arraignment.

Staples
A Hopkinsville doctor was arrested Saturday and charged with growing and selling marijuana.
Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at the 15253 North Madisonville Road residence of 58-year old Doctor Gloria Staples Friday evening and arrested her Saturday.
The arrest card says police found more than five marijuana plants in a “grow room” in the upstairs of the residence. Other equipment commonly associated with the growing, selling and smoking of marijuana were also allegedly found. Those items included rolling papers, pipes and bongs.
Doctor Staples, who runs a practice on North Drive, was charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was booked into the Christian County Jail and released the same day on bond.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says President Barack Obama's plan regarding insurance coverage of birth control is a violation of the First Amendment.
Appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," the Kentucky Republican called for Obama to "back down," saying the issue will not go away until the administration does so.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says President Obama is not looking at the issue correctly.
On Friday, President Obama unveiled a compromise aimed at tamping down an outcry over the administration's new policy on contraceptives. Under the compromise, religious-affiliated employers will not be required to provide birth control coverage. That covers Catholic hospitals and Catholic universities, among others. The burden falls to insurance companies to offer birth control services at such institutions, free of charge.
