Guthrie residents no longer have to leave town to have medical lab or imaging work done after Jennie Stuart Medical Center recently opened a facility in the south Todd County town.
Guthrie Express Lab and Medical Imaging is located adjacent to Guthrie MD on the Dixie Beeline Highway and is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 5.
Jennie Stuart Medical Center Director of Marketing and Community Relations Jim Goss says Guthrie patients can have the lab work done locally that they've gone out of town for in the past.
Goss says all of the most popular digital imaging services are also offered in Guthrie.
The imaging services include diagnostic x-ray studies, including spine, chest, ribs and extremity x-rays.
Goss says you don't have to see a Jennie Stuart affiliated doctor to have your lab work done at the facility and all physician referrals are accepted.
