Police in Clarksville now have a named suspect in connection with an incident at Khols last week when an alleged thief struck an employee with his vehicle as he drove away.

A news release says thanks to efforts by the media in getting the photo out, a member of the public identified the suspect as 21-year old Troy Devon Tyson of Nashville.

Tyson is wanted for reckless endangerment and evading police. The Kohls employee was struck by Tyson’s door as he drove away from the store with merchandise, though he avoided serious injury.

Police say call 911 if you spot Tyson or cal the tips line at 931-645-8477 if you may know his whereabouts.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect responsible for a major theft there last week.

A news release from Sheriff Wallace Whitaker’s office says someone used a universal key to drive off with a 25-thousand dollar New Holland Skid Steer at 659 Cates Bypass Road between 10pm Wednesday night and 9am Thursday morning.

Anyone who may have information on the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 270-726-2244 and callers can remain anonymous.

Warrants alleging sexual abuse have been served on a Hopkinsville man.

Taken into custody early Friday and facing eight counts of sexual abuse and one count of sexual misconduct was 49-year old Rogelio Juarez of Hopkinsville, with the victim listed as someone under the age of 12.

The Christian County Grand Jury indicted 15 people Friday including the wife of a Fort Campbell soldier and her alleged accomplice for murder.

25-year old Jessie Lucille Gosyln of Fort Campbell and 24-year old Jarred Tabor Long of Grand Junction, Colorado are both charged with murder for the February 3^rd fatal shooting of Gosyln’s husband, 28-year old Vincent Goslyn jr. whose lifeless body was found by authorities in the 400 block of Fidelio Road.
Court records indicate that Jessie Goslyn admitted to police that she willingly drove her husband to a place, despite knowing he would allegedly be harmed by Long.
Both remain lodged in the Christian County Jail.

The 2012 Kentucky Derby is just around the corner and Hopkinsville officials are asking local citizens to attend the annual Pennyrile Area Kentucky Colonel Breakfast next month to jump start the festivities.
Paula Knight says this year’s breakfast menu will feature southern delights like country ham and biscuits and so much more.

Knight says local citizens should attend the breakfast on May 5th to show their Kentucky pride and have fellowship with other residents.

Knight says attendance to the breakfast has decreased over the years and hopes this year’s attendance will surpass previous years since the event has become an annual tradition, much like the Kentucky Derby for families to attend.
The Pennyrile Area Kentucky Colonel Breakfast will be held at Pioneers and tickets can be purchased for $10 at James Knight Appliance located on 2418 Fort Campbell Boulevard.
