Fort Campbell’s Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention Manager was arrested Wednesday for alleged crimes against his estranged wife.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year old Lieutenant Colonel Darin Haas of Clarksville on charges of Stalking and Violating an Order of Protection.
A statement from Fort Campbell says Lieutenant Colonel Haas “is in a conflict with his ex-wife based on a contentious divorce, and both have mutual orders of protection against each other. The ongoing investigation is to determine whether or not he violated the actual provisions of the Order of Protection that applies to him.”
Post officials say, “Based on these allegations, Lt. Col. Haas was immediately removed from his position…He is pending retirement from the Army, and his replacement will assume duties immediately.”
Haas was released on $15,000 bond, according to the Montgomery County Jail website.
