Tomorrow is graduation day for the two public schools in Christian County and two educators will be the commencement speakers.
Christian County High School will have it's graduation ceremony first at the Stadium of Champions at 5 pm. English teacher Jacob Jones will be the commencement speaker, according to District Spokesperson Heather Aubin, who says Jones is a very popular member of the faculty with this year's graduating class.
Hopkinsville High School's commencement is set for 8:30 pm at the stadium. Fort Campbell Army and Career and Alumni Program Counselor Kyra McDonald is set to address the Tiger Class of 2013.
Project Graduation will begin around 10 pm at the Bruce Convention Center and students will be released Saturday morning at 6. The annual occasion provides a drug and alcohol free celebration for graduates of all four local high schools. Graduations will be moved to the respective high school gyms in the case of rain—though inclement weather is not in the forecast.
