Hopkinsville's new Chick-Fil-A is officially open for business after a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.
The parking lot was full at the Fort Campbell Boulevard establishment, where Corporate Business Consultant Cathy Price said there had been a steady flow of traffic through the morning. She says it's clear Hopkinsville is a good match with Chick-Fil-A.
Franchise owner/operator Laurie Harris says the restaurant employs 75 people—some of whom could make a career at the company over the next several years.
Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp, Christian County Judge Executive Steve Tribble and Chamber of Commerce President Carter Hendricks all spoke during the ceremony and took part in the ribbon-cutting and “first bite” ceremonies.
