April was a busy month for Kentucky State Police in the Pennyrile area.
State Police say troopers arrested 31 impaired drivers, issued over 2,100 citations, issued 910 speeding citations, issued 745 courtesy notices and helped 175 stranded motorists.
State Police also responded to 894 calls for service, opened 40 criminal cases and made 191 criminal arrests.
State Police also reported that there were two fatal wrecks last month with the single-fatality crashes reported in Crittenden and Todd Counties.
