The University of Kentucky Christian County Cooperative Extension Office has announced the hiring of a new County Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences.
Tiffany Bolinger, who had been the Public Information Officer at the Christian County Health Department, took over those duties April 15. Ms. Bolinger is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Science. She achieved her Master's at Western Kentucky University in Mental Health Counseling.
She is married to Wesley Bolinger of Pembroke and is the daughter of Chris and Donna Whitmer of Hopkinsville. She says she's excited to join the Cooperative Extension team and is looking forward to working with Christian County residents on the various programs offered at the office.
Ms. Bolinger replaces Marsha Parker, who retired at the end of February following 29 and a half years of service.
