A Cerulean woman was injured in an accident on the 1682 bypass Thursday morning.
The Hopkinsville Police report says 26-year old Audrey Roberts of Cerulean was east bound in the left lane on the bypass around 9:50 am when a vehicle to her right began to change lanes. The driver of that vehicle told police she didn't see Ms. Roberts, who ran into the median in an effort to avoid a collision.
Ms. Roberts' vehicle hit an embankment, causing it to become airborne before landing on its top on the westbound side. Ms. Roberts complained of feet and back injuries and was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
