U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell will be the keynote speaker at Murray State University's graduation ceremonies this spring.
Murray State Commencement is scheduled for May 11 at 10 am in the CFSB Center on campus. Senator McConnell says he's “honored for the privilege to address Murray State University's graduating class” and says President Doctor Randy Dunn, the faculty and staff are “helping to move the commonwealth forward through innovative teaching, groundbreaking research and a commitment to excellence in service.”
Approximately 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students are candidates for commencement at the school, which operates a regional campus in Hopkinsville.
