Todd County EMS Director and retired Hopkinsville fire-fighter Locky Beasley was injured in wreck Wednesday morning.
Beasley, who lives near Greenville, was traveling on KY 973 in Muhlenberg County around 7 am when the accident happened. He says he was stung by a wasp while driving and ran off the road while attempting to kill the insect.
Beasley says he hit a concrete culvert, causing his Jeep to roll several times—ejecting him to the ground. The vehicle came to rest on top of Beasley, breaking several ribs and causing soft tissue damage.
He was taken to Muhlenberg Community Hospital, where he was treated and released.
