The Clarksville Police Department is once again asking for the public’s help in solving another criminal case.
Clarksville Police are seeking any information regarding an aggravated assault that took place Sunday that left 60-year old Ethel Adamson unconscious and in critical condition at her 722 Central Avenue residence.
On Sunday, around 9:15 a.m. officers responded to the residence after the victim’s son found her on the bed unresponsive and had a head injury.
The victim’s son told police that he left the residence around midnight, the door was locked and when he returned home, the door was unlocked.
Police say there were no signs of forced entry and that Ms. Adamson was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, where she remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Anyone with information or seen anyone around the Central Avenue area on Saturday and Sunday are asked to call the anonymous TIPS line at 931-645-8477.
