A woman sustained cuts to her body during a struggle with an armed robber in Clarksville Friday morning.
The incident happened around 6:15 a.m. at 415 South Second Street, according to the Clarksville Police report, which says the female victim was attempting to get in her vehicle when she was approached by a black male who appeared to be in his late 20’s who pulled a knife and demanded cash.
The woman said she didn’t have any money and that’s when a struggle ensued, leaving the victim with cuts to her arms and stomach. The woman began yelling for help and that her husband was home and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
A K9 unit was called to the scene in an attempt to track the suspect, but it was not successful.
