The woman murdered at a vacant Woodmill Road Apartment Saturday night has been identified and Hopkinsville Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the crime.
Public Information Officer Paul Ray says 44-year old Kathleen Davis of Hopkinsville died from asphyxiation, according to the results of an autopsy conducted Sunday morning in Louisville.
A neighbor found Ms. Davis unresponsive at 1803 Woodmill Road, Apartment #2 around 7:50 Saturday evening. Hopkinsville Police have no suspects in the case and Officer Ray says Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest.
The anonymous tips line is 270-887-TIPS and the investigation continues.
