Hopkinsville fire-fighters were busy fighting a building and vehicle fire late this morning, with no one injured.
The first blaze was at the Marathon Max Fuel Express next to Wal-Mart a little after 10 a.m. where a vehicle was fully engulfed when fire-fighters arrived. Deputy Chief Eric Bleidt says the pumps were never in any danger of catching fire and that the vehicle was a complete loss.
The second fire happened soon after at a maintenance building at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Country Club.
Bleidt says someone was working on a piece of equipment when a small fire began. Light smoke was seen coming from the building when crews arrived and that blaze was put out with only minimal damage done.
