Clarksville Police say a local couple was arrested this morning after a phone call was received about a vehicle at a Taco Bell drive thru window with intoxicated occupants inside the vehicle.
Around 12:19 a.m. officers responded to the Taco Bell located at 788 North Riverside Drive in reference to a possible intoxicated driver and when officers arrived on the scene, they found a woman, identified as Autumn Neuner, in the passenger seat of a vehicle unconscious.
Police identified the driver as Nathaniel Neuner, who told officers he was driving because his wife didn’t feel good and she needed an ambulance and officers noticed the couple’s 8-year old child was sitting the back seat of the vehicle.
Officers administered standardized field sobriety tests to Nathaniel Neuner and after completion of the tests, he was taken in custody and Autumn Neuner, was transported to the hospital due to her level of intoxication and was also taken in custody after being released from the hospital.
The couple’s child was turned over to DCS custody since officers were unable to locate another adult to take care of the child.
The couple was booked into the Montgomery County Jail without incident and is charged with DUI and Contributing to Dependency.
