Severe Weather Awareness Month continues and law enforcement officials want to remind area motorists to obey all traffic laws in order to avoid a wreck when a storm hits.
Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll offers a few suggestions for motorists to consider when driving on wet roadways.
Officer Knoll says it’s important that motorists obey traffic laws, especially when road conditions deteriorate since the chances of getting into a wreck increases.
Officer Knoll says there were no reports of severe damage of any major wrecks reported in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area as a result of today’s severe weather.
Law enforcement officials also say motorists are urged to go under the speed limit when road conditions deteriorate or visibility is dramatically reduced during severe weather.
