A young Hopkinsville man was arrested for the second time in four days over the weekend for his alleged role in vehicle burglaries.

Hopkinsville Police announced last week that a search warrant at a Cave Street home resulted in the arrests of 25-year old Robert Steven Outland and 18-year old Zachary Evans of the city.

Meanwhile, officers were called to the Parkview Drive area Sunday morning, where at least three vehicles had been broken into. Over $8,000 worth of property had been taken, including body armor, a pistol and two GPS systems.

Further investigation led to the arrests of 18-year old Josh Oliver of Hopkinsville and Evans—who had been released from the Christian County Jail on the same day as his arrest Thursday.

Both suspects are charged with receiving stolen property and are in jail on $5,000 bond.
