Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Crime Stoppers receives $2,500 donation

Members of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Kiwanis Club this afternoon made a generous donation to a local organization that assists law enforcement officials in apprehending criminals.

Kiwanis Club President, Carter Hendricks presented Crime Stoppers Coordinator, Officer Paul Ray with a $2,500 check to go towards funding the organization.



Officer Ray thanked club members for the donation and discussed a recent arrest thanks to an anonymous tipster who called into the Crime Stoppers tips line.



The local crime stoppers organization was established in December 1984.
