A Fort Campbell unit will be teaming up with the City of Hopkinsville on Friday to conduct a mass casualty exercise.

Post officials say about 100 soldiers assigned to the 63^rd Chemical Company, 52^nd Explosive Ordinance Detachment will work in coordination with the City of Hopkinsville on how to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incidents.

Officials say soldiers are being trained and evaluated and certified for its homeland defense mission for fiscal year 2014.

The mass casualty exercise will take place Friday afternoon at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
