Hopkinsville Police investigating multiple car break-ins

The Hopkinsville Police Department wants to remind area residents to always lock their vehicles.
Police are currently investigating multiple car break-ins, where most vehicles were left unlocked.

The car break-ins occurred in the residential neighborhoods of Country Club Lane, Marietta Drive, West 7^th Street, Talbert Drive and East 1^st Street.

Police are urging the public to make sure their vehicles are locked and to remove all valuables such as purses, cell phones, GPS systems from their vehicles, even if it’s parked outside of the home.

Citizens are also encouraging residents to dial 9-1-1 if they see anything or anyone suspicious in their neighborhoods.
