Hopkinsville man charged with downtown burglaries

A warrant has been served against the man accused of breaking into several downtown businesses and it tells of multiple alleged incidents over an eight month period.

Hopkinsville Police served the warrant on charges of third degree burglary and criminal mischief against 38-year old Rodney Edwards of Hopkinsville.

The warrant alleges Edwards broke into Mize Machine on multiple occasions in addition to burglaries at G&S Embroidery and H&M Vending.

All of the incidents happened between June of last year and February of this year. He remains lodged in the Christian County Jail on $33,000 bond.
