Pilots assigned to the 101st Airborne Division’s 1-59th Combat Aviation Brigade this Friday will be testing their skills by tapping into latest technology.
The pilots will undergo simulation training on the Non-Rated Crew Member Manned Module and military officials say there are only a few of these simulators nationwide.
Officials say the simulator is capable of conducting a wide range of mock missions, like aircraft door gunnery, sling-load missions, plus many more.
Officials also state that with sequestration going on, this is one way the Army is committed to being good stewards of taxpayer dollars while keeping the same standard of training for our soldiers. ** (03/6/2013/MF)
