Interim HCC President to begin duties Wednesday

Hopkinsville Community College Interim President, Dr. Pat Lake’s first day on the job is tomorrow and he says he is looking forward to serving in his new role.

Kentucky Community and Technical College System President, Michael B. McCall announced Monday that Dr. Lake was appointed as HCC’s Interim President and he says he is confident his experience and success within KCTCS will be an asset for the college as they begin the search process for the next president with Dr. Lake sharing his thoughts on his appointment.



Dr. Lake also spoke about his immediate goals for the local community college.



Dr. Lake served as president of Henderson Community College for 25 years before retiring from the position in December 2010.
