KSP investigating bomb threat at Muhlenberg County High School

Kentucky State Police are investigating after a bomb threat was received at Muhlenberg County High School East Campus this morning.

Around 10:36 a.m. the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department notified K-S-P in reference to a bomb threat at the East Campus of Muhlenberg County High School located after a note was found in a bathroom that stated a bomb was located somewhere inside the school.

Emergency personnel from several agencies responded to the scene and students were safely evacuated from the high school. 

State Police say a search of the school was conducted by K-9’s from the K-S-P Special Operations Section and no explosives or explosive devices were found.
