Details released on Friday concrete truck rollover accident

More details are now available on Friday’s concrete truck rollover accident that injured a local man.

The Hopkinsville Police report from Public Safety Officer Chris Bond says 48-year old Patrick White of Hopkinsville was traveling on the KY 1682 bypass between Madisonville Road and Dawson Springs Road around 10:15 when he veered right to avoid a vehicle traveling west in the eastbound lane.

White attempted to steer the truck back into the westbound lane, but overturned onto the vehicle’s right side. Police say White was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
