HPD looking for Citizen's Police Academy participants

Five more local residents are being sought to participate in the upcoming Hopkinsville Citizen’s Police Academy.

Public Information Officer Paul Ray says the deadline to apply for the classes that start March 7th is end of business Monday. He says the seven week long course teaches all aspects of the Hopkinsville Police Department.

                                              

Officer Ray says applications can be picked up at the police department or they can be downloaded form the City of Hopkinsville website.

                                              

The classes are held each Thursday evening at 6 at the Hopkinsville Murray State University campus.
