Preliminary statistics released by Kentucky State Police today indicate that 14 people died in 13 separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways from Monday, February 18th through Sunday.
State Police report that single-fatality, motor vehicle crashes occurred in thefollowing counties: Carter, Casey, Daviess, Garrard, Hopkins, Jessamine, Livingston, Magoffin, Oldham, Pike and Rockcastle Counties.
State Police also reported that a pedestrian was killed in Jefferson County.
Through Sunday, preliminary data indicates that 73 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2013, which is 26 less than what was reported for this time period last year.
