The woman accused of assaulting the wife of Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp a little over two years ago was released on bail this morning.

The mother of 53-year old Lori Ann Little of Nashville bailed her daughter out of the Christian County Jail this morning on thirty five thousand dollars cash bond.

Circuit Judge Andrew Self set conditions of release that say she is not allowed to be in Christian County other than for court appearances. She is allowed to visit defense attorney Nan Calloway in Elkton, but cannot contact the Kemp family in any way.

Little is not allowed to consume any alcohol or drugs and committing any new crimes would also be a violation of her release terms.

Little was arrested in December of 2010 after she allegedly knocked on the door of the mayor’s home and then attacked his wife Henrietta when she answered. Ms. Little had a history with the Kemp family and had made threatening phone calls in the past. She was charged with first degree burglary, fourth degree assault and stalking after being arrested at an Oak Grove hotel on the night of the incident.
