Benton man arrested following drug bust at his home

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office on Monday joined forces with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force to follow up on a lead concerning drug activity at a residence.

Law enforcement officials went to the residence located on Ethridge Lane and were
allowed inside the residence and given permission to search the house.

During the search, sheriff deputies found coffee filters, foils with methamphetamine on them, two small bags of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a small bag of marijuana.

As a result of the discovery, 54-year old Billy Stacey of Benton was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stacey remains lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
