Over 13-thousand Kentuckians have provided their input so far concerning the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s 20-year long range plan.
State transportation officials say they would like to see more participation by residents who live in rural counties to help maintain a variety of input.
Time is running out for residents to offer their thoughts as the deadline to do so is Monday, February 25th.
The “Your Turn” survey consists of 19 questions concerning demographics, transportation needs and desires, and funding options and can be found online by visiting www.transportation.ky.gov.
Officials say the survey helps determine transportation needs for all areas of Kentucky over the next two decades and that the updated plan will consider changes in communities, freight movement, financial resources, economic development, rural and urban transportation, the environment and other transportation issues.
