Woman injured in Muhlenberg Co. wreck

A single-vehicle wreck in Muhlenberg County Saturday morning injured a Greenville woman.

Kentucky State Police say 61-year old Jewel Stanley of Greenville was westbound on KY 70 near the Hopkins County line when she lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road.           

Ms. Stanley’s vehicle struck an embankment before coming to rest off the road. She was taken by ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Madisonville for treatment of her injuries.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office assisted KSP on the scene.
