Kentucky State Police release info on Parkway wreck

Kentucky State Police released more details concerning a single-vehicle wreck that occurred on the Pennyrile Parkway, around the 8 mile-marker, today at 11 a.m.

State Police say preliminary investigation revealed that 21-year old Jonathan Chouchan, of Akron, Ohio, was driving southbound in the left lane when another vehicle came into his lane of travel.

Police say Chouchan swerved to avoid the other vehicle and traveled into the median and control of the vehicle and it overturned and came to rest on its top in the left lane of the northbound lanes of the parkway.

Chouchan and one of his passengers, 20-year old Janna Ward, of Clarksville, were not injured,
while his two, other passengers, 19-year old Britney Napier, of Pegram, and 19-year old Brittney Hancock, of White Bluff, were transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. 

Police all occupants were wearing seatbelts and that Hopkinsville Fire & Rescue and Hopkinsville EMS assisted at the scene.
