The history behind local Chapel of Love!

13 couples are now enjoying wedded bliss after taking the plunge on Valentine’s Day at a local, well-known chapel.

Close to 7,700 marriages have been performed at Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble’s Chapel of Love over the past 20 years.

Prior to his busy schedule of performing weddings today, Judge Tribble took a trip down memory lane and spoke about how his Chapel of Love came into fruition many years go.



Judge Tribble also spoke about his sign that decorates the chapel outside.



Judge Tribble says the most weddings he has performed in one day was 22 and that he says couples looking to make a permanent commitment to each other are always welcome at the Chapel of Love.
