Five Hopkinsville men were arrested on drug trafficking charges last Friday night. The Hopkinsville Police report says Officer Edward Eastman responded to a loud music call at 905 Younglove Street and noticed a strong odor of marijuana. The men inside the home could be seen through the window allegedly running from room to room in an attempt to hide something after officers announced their presence. Police kicked in the front door and obtained consent to search the residence. Few other details are given, but the investigation resulted in trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in marijuana charges against 20-year old Kenron Prince, 31-year old Eric Greene, 27-year old William Palmer, 28-year old Antonio Artis and 26-year old Veairrus Leavell of Hopkinsville. The men were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and have all since been released from the Christian County Jail. ** 02/14/2013/am |
