Cancer can take a toll on the mind, body and soul and in an effort to help survivors cope with treatment-related side effects, officials at Vanderbilt University Medical Center are offering free make-overs.
Officials at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center will be hosting a free seminar led by experts in hair and skin issues on Wednesday, February 20th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Vanderbilt Breast Center located at 719 Thompson Lane, in Nashville.
Officials say the free makeover class is designed specifically for patients who are currently undergoing therapy.
During the class, participants will learn how to apply makeup and will be treated to a light, healthy lunch.
Each patient will also be provided with a free supply of brand-name cosmetics matched to their skin tone and other products used to facilitate the makeover process.
